About Us:
What I love most about Clayton:
Besides his uncanny resemblance to Prince William?

About Clayton:
I'm from Northeast Ohio, and as Leah can tell you I am very proud of that fact. Ever since I was young I always wanted to build things and understand how they worked which has led me to studying Engineering. I will be graduating in the Spring of 2013 and can't wait to finally lose the title of "Intern." I'm waiting to hear back from grad schools for my MBA! I love boating and being on the lake so I would say it's safe to say that I'll buying a boat sometime after graduation!
What I love most about Leah:
It was love at first sight, for me. I love that she's the only one able to talk reason into me when I am the one who gets wound up. She always tolerates my storytelling - even the third and fourth times I tell them! Also I know that she can always help heal me up since she knows a lot more about my body than I do. She knows me better than anyone. Also I think an interesting thing about her is that she's the only Canadian I know who doesn't like HOCKEY!
How We Met
Clay and I were 'forced' into a blind date by our roommates at the time! Emily (my roommate) and I had met John (his roommate) and Duy (groomsman) at the pool at our apartment complex. Over the next week or two, John suggested over and over that I meet his roommate, and vice-versa! Clay and I both had our own things going on and dragged our feet about it. Finally, he badgered us into meeting at the pool, where Clay asked me on our first date - a Cowboys game! Canadian as I am, I am not a football fan - period! But I was a good sport. Besides, this guy was CUTE!
The date started off disastrously, but the chemistry was obvious! We started exclusively dating in September of 2010 (less than a week later) and became pretty much inseparable. We decided to move in together July of 2011, and he proposed soon after in October!

| Partner in crime! |
Clay proposed in October 2011. He and I had always talked about having a private proposal; as loudmouthed and outgoing as I am with friends and family, the idea of being proposed to in public was terrifying! As always, he proved how well he knew me by proposing in our apartment (after asking my parents, of course!) while I was cooking dinner! It was a complete surprise. I was blabbing away as usual, when he called from the living room that he thought our newly adopted kitten wasn't feeling well. I didn't think much of it when he pushed the cat into my arms, but he didn't look sick to me! Cade (our kitten) was obviously distracted by something, and kept pawing at his neck. When I went to see what he was fidgeting with, I saw Clay had tied the ring onto his collar! I looked down to find Clay on his knee! How could I say no? Things got dangerous when he tried to remove the ring from around the collar...he was so nervous it flung off and almost landed in the garbage disposal! We had a long laugh about it, and he put it safely on my finger while I recovered from my near heart-attack!
